Important message for the Spanish spoken readers/ Mensaje importante para los lectores en habla hispana

Please, non Spanish spoken can kindly disregard this notice. Thank you.

Maryam

Labels

I have updated my posts and have added labels, so from now on those who want to they will be able to read the entries in English and those who know I from time to time write also in my mother tongue Spanish, know that from now on there is a link on left panne to the Spanish entries as well.

I don't know why I did not do this before.

Subscription Updates

I have fixed the problem regarding FeedBlitz and R-mail, the two subscription services that I have included on this blog (see left Pane).
FeedBlitz did not reach my account since Gmail reinforced the spam filters. So everything was sent to the spam folder. If you use FeedBlitz and are not receiving the updates for this blog, please check the spam folder and add the service to your contacts.

Regarding R.mail.. this service has migrated to another website and has a new name: SendMeRss.com. Therefore, the account at R-mail is inexistent since a few weeks ago. Please, check under the FeedBlitz service on this page (Left Pane) and see the new widget for SendMeRss.com in the case you would like to subscribe to this blog using their free service.

The spam politic has given problems to the subscription delivery but we only have to think it is for the best:-)

Ya Haqq,

Maryam

Dear Readers,

For some reason, the subscription services by r.mail and FeedBlitz did not work on my previous entries. I hope this is just a momentary little problem and that it will be fixed very soon. My apologies.

Subscription Service

The subscritpion service powered by Blogjet is not working anymore. Please, those who were subscribed to this blog will need to do it to my new service FeedBurner (on left pane)

It was impossible to retrieve the list of subscribed emails on Blogjet; therefore I present my excuses regarding this little problem.

Thanks.

About the Guestbook

I am updating a new guestbook, so probably those who left messages there are receiving a thank you page to your email addresses. Just ignore them: every time I am reposting your addresses at the new guestbook (by the way, I'd appreciate your opinion on it, so as to change it or not) there is a thank you message going to your inbox.

My excuses.

Maryam

Bazaar Section

I have started adding e-books on Sufism at the Bazaar section which is on the left panne. They are Spanish translations and in the days to come I intend to add up some in English as well. And in Arabic, insha'Allah. They are introductions to Sufism but there is one by Paulo Coellho which is not a book but something he wrote at Globo as journalist and writer. It is in the original portuguese and there is also the translation into Spanish. So... speaking about Spanish, here is an extract from Ibn Al-Arabi treatise called "The Essential". And as you may know already I post in various languages because the readers come as well from diverse countries and cultures. I want to thank Mystic Cowboy for his interest in reading this blog and to all the people that revisit it from time to time. I believe that there are not two labourers alike, as there are not two fruits alike. And perhaps someday the fruits will become more tasteful, and more healthier, as the labourers will become wiser on earth and moon matters. There will be always something different one from another. But the fruits will be enhanced and diverse as well.

The following is an autograph seen at the Ibn Arabi Society by Ibn Al-Arabi, the great andalusian sufi master. The venerable wise man from the X century and all the centuries ahead. The philosopher of Love.

Ten conciencia, vergüenza frente a Allah.

Tasawwuf Blog Links

I have updated my links as well as the book recommendations. As learner of Sufism, this blog Tasawwuf is a personal notebook to jot in my thoughts and evidences I find related to my mystical path. I do not belong to any order, I feel at ease going back to the sources, the first sufis and their writings. Perhpas because I don't feel prone to orders or groups. My source of knowledge is among all the sufi masters, without differences of tariqaat. It is a personal path and my secondary companions are the rememembrances, the books and what I feel. As for sufi music, I believe the best sounds are the ones that we utter. Their vibrations so subtle that they become stronger than higher leveles of voices, musical instruments... The links I include on the faq section and other places are for information regarding sufism, its history, meaning and allegoric substance.

sufi blog

Hello. Tassawuf Blog

I am glad I found this place to write my inner thoughts. It will be my tasawuf blog. I want to make it feel a realm. It's ok for me if I don't get any comments. But if I do, they will be most welcome.
I will write here the things that I have found in my life and those that have made me be more myself. And free.
I am not a sufi as they are seen today. I am a sufi in my heart like the elder ones. In fact, I am not YET a sufi. I wish I were! But I follow my path with serenity and freedom of soul and of thought.
