Quotes of Aga Khan IV, Aga Khan III and Nasir Khusraw:

"And the more we discover, the more we know, the more we penetrate just below the surface of our normal lives - the more our imagination staggers.........What we feel, even as we learn, is an ever-renewed sense of wonder, indeed, a powerful sense of awe – and of Divine inspiration.....the Power and the Mystery of Allah as the Lord of Creation"(Aga Khan IV, Ottawa, Canada, December 6th 2008)

    Dear Maryam,

Thank you for this. I enjoyed reading it. It's implications, to me, seem to be what is often overlooked not only in Islam but in other faiths. That is...there is much teaching related to the sanctity of the land, sky, earth, cosmos, and humankind's place within it (and its place within humankind).

The wonder mentioned in the quote above can lead one, it seems, to a knowing utterly beyond conception.

    Just a few thoughts.

    Thank you again.

    All good wishes,

    mo'in
